It is with great sadness that we share that our amazing daughter Sophia has relapsed with Neuroblasoma. We have started treatments once again at CHLA. Please keep Sophia and our family in your prayers.

    Sophia and Family,
We went through childhood cancer with our daughter when she was five. She had WILMS. It was so scary and difficult to get through. I know what you have suffered and truly understand your ongoing fears. Our daughter is now a beautiful, intelligent, successful, and compassionate 26 year old. I have faith that Sophia will be just like her. Our family will keep you and Sophia in our thoughts. Susan

I will pray for your family and Sophia daily. Our pastor Britt’s daughter suffered from a rare case of cancer at age 4. He’s the lead pastor at REALITY church in Ventura and Santa Barbara. Sophia would have a lot of friends to play with there. :)

Sophia you are so strong and beautiful. Nemo is lucky to have such a caring and smart buddy. Have a great day everyday!

  9. Toni says:

All good things to sweet Sophia and her brave parents.

Thank you Toni! We are very pleased to share that Sophia’s most recent tests came back clean. No Neuroblastoma cells. She remains in remission. We couldn’t be happier for our very special little girl.

I love this. So well done! So moving, so touching without being maudlin or clichéd. Thank you.
